Once the exhaust can is removed, does undoing the two clamps from front and rear cylinders, and the butterfly cables attached to the collector (correct term?) allow removal of the the collector? I’ve gotten that far and the bugger seems to be still solidly attached. Going through this exercise to lower swing arm so I can get the shock out. Next step is to insert lowering spacer in shock to lower seat height. Ideally a shorter spring with same spring rate as stock would be ideal. Race tech has nothing and didn’t seem enthusiastic attempting a cross reference. Anyone with ideas? Forks already raised 7/8”.
If this was a Japanese bike, a new set of dog bones would be an hour swap at most.
Here be mechanigeeks. Anything technical that is not a teething problem.
