Thanks for the info... I also have a similar setup. The smt feels great. I will gladly compare tuneecu files :-)

I bet it flys like a bird & is smooth to ride. :D 10HP gain nice results,

I see you managed to sort a work around with cylinder 1 & Tune ECU on the custom map, any chance I can PM you my Email address & get a copy of your fuel map to add in the forums map section to share with everyone?

I came across these guys in my web travels. They've also got a number of other tuning parts, but i've never seen any dyno results:

I just want to show a couple of pictures of mye ITG "sausage" setup for my SMT with the latest "customised" map I use.
It has never been better... A slight vibration around 4900-5100 rpm at approx 5-8% throttle opening still. Will look into it. However Kevin said something regarding a similar issue with Shorai lithium battery which I also have...

Here is my latest map from (as a zip)
i compared your map with mine and it is a lot similar, above 8000rmp yours richer and between 6-8000rpm mine is a bit richer(but your filter isn't 100% the same as mine so a direct compare is useless).
But if you compare your and mine map to the "akra" map, it looks very similar between 2000-7000rpm.
I never did a proper run with a datalogger to see how rich it is with the akra map at a pretty standard bike (i sold the datalogger because it took to much time and needed money for this project).
But bet it runs RICH... but the funny thing is that i still managed to get a 1:15 (l/km) with the Akra map (drive style: 20-30km/h above speed limit and pulling fast out of corners).
So i'm curious how the fuel use will be now...

But to bad the road was wet yesterday and i got a big piece of plastic in my rear tire so i need to change that one, so i couldn't really test how the bike did run now.

My fuel consumption is about 0.6l/10km that is when driving "normal".
Of course I can get it to be quite higher :)

But please send me your map and I can compare them.

Did the Temp Sensor wires have to be extended or did it fit straight away?

Saw on ADVRider that they had to add wire to the sensor on the adventure.

Are the RC8 stacks recommended with the CPR intake? I guess my real question is, is the height of the CPR intake lower than the stock airbox? I'm considering the CPR but I would rather stay with the taller stock stacks unless that would cause a power loss.

No you can use the standard stack without any problem
The height clearence is more than half the diameter of the intake so it ok, according the thumb rule.
Only with RC8 stacks it makes a couple of extra horse power that's all ;)

Spark01/Bambadoo I had a question about your mappings. I was running bambadoo's map for a while now and thought I would give spark01's a try. I am running the following mods on my smr.

Mods:
-CPR filter
-Wings cans
-32mm Db-killers
-2nd flies removed
-RC8 Stacks

Reading this thread I wasn't sure if bambadoo was actually running the CPR filter or not. On Kev's mapping section under the details of his map #6 in the tune ecu section it shows his map with the CPR filter.

But reading bambadoo's comments:

I just want to show a couple of pictures of mye ITG "sausage" setup for my SMT with the latest "customised" map I use.

And then Spark01's response later in the thread:

i compared your map with mine and it is a lot similar, above 8000rmp yours richer and between 6-8000rpm mine is a bit richer(but your filter isn't 100% the same as mine so a direct compare is useless).

From reading this I am guessing that bambadoo's setup is actually something different from the CPR filter a similar type but not the same. Was just curious whether or not this was an accurate statement? Maybe I will get better results from spark01's map.

My best bet is that you test yourself.
Also, Kevin has made a great map in #18 which is quite similar to your setup.

The map I am running right now is more like a "mixture" of sparks, kevins #18 (jeff itg foam filter) and my original. (I am thinking "values" in the tables)

The best result I have got for my bike so far. Have been running all season with this.

Feel free to test and report.
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6y-cEF ... =drive_web

Yes there are differences between the ITG "sausage" and CPR filter. However the difference is more or less cosmetical? It all comes down to "airflow" og filter/dust properties. How they compare performance wise I really don't know. I have only tried the ITG sausage with rc8 stacks on my bike.

Next year I will buy an ITG jc30/80 which should be quite identical to CPR and report back the difference between that and the jc65 sausage.

BTW. There are a couple of other very interesting threads here at this forum which you should read through.

Thanks for replying I appreciate the information. And for sharing this other map. I will definitely give it a shot and see which one I like best. I will try Kev's #18 as well. I did like your original map that Kev has posted on the list of maps. The bike ran pretty well with it, was just looking to mix it up. I'll let you know what I think of your updated map once I get it download to the bike and get a chance to ride with it.
