Sweeta*serapingjesus I had to end up CUTTING my impeller off using a Dremel because the factory had glued it completely on. I tried wiggling, heat, taping, percussion for 2 hours in order from gentle to rough. It would not budge at all. When I serviced my SD's water pump ten years ago, it had a bit of glue on the shaft, but the impeller popped off no worries with a bit of gentle persuasion. Not this fella !
When I do this job again, I'll be buying an impeller as well. They are cheap anyway. Oh well. Another part order. Like what Kev found (reported in his mod book), mine didn't really need doing (37000k).

That’s the good thing about these bikes, the fixes are all really cheap. Just placed an order for £10 last night, just for a few O-Rings and screws that I’m replacing.
