SMT highland fun

Post by Cicsy » Mon Aug 21, 2017 9:48 pm

A first attempt at uploading a video to YouTube. Perhaps best watched with the sound turned right down. I've still to work out where to place the external Mike to avoid both wind noise and suppressing the noise of the mivv cans.

Fuck me, how loud?!?!?! :o

I've got unbaffled Fuel's on my SMT, and they're no-where near as loud as that, unless the mike is amplifying that somehow?

Nice vid, but when do you give it the real beans?
This is what I do with mine....

I'm still experimenting where to put the Mike there's no doubt it's amplfing the already loud exhaust so just trial and error just now. Thats it duck taped inside a big woolly sock and stuck down the back of my jacket to try and cut down on the wind noise.

Also that was the first I'd been over that road and the rozzers are known to police it quite heavily so you've got to pick your times for misbehaving with the throttle. Watch this space for more naughty moments. One thing though, I don't know if it's the riding position but no matter how hard you go on this thing it always looks slow on the playback compared to a sport bike
