Great road, my 990 SMR was one of the most fun bikes I have ever owned, except for the fuel range. Hope they bring out a 1290 SMR I would be the first to put my name down for one & it can sit next to my 1290SDR.

How do you compare the SMR to your new SDR? Miss the height or the suspension travel?

I love the looks from the SDR, but it will cost me exactly two times my SMR (which ins't cheap in itself) and sometimes I think it will make me "behave" myself like any other sportbike.

I don't respect ANY speedbumps on the SMR :)

Different bikes, both are fun but still have a soft spot for the SMR. There was only $2300.00 between the price of both bikes.

Lucky for you coz you have great roads. It was fun watching the video of a KTM trying to catch up with the sportbikes
