New Graphics

Post by MotoMike723 » Sun Oct 27, 2013 11:40 pm

After seeing Lew-hand93's graphics I contacted the company he used to design and order a set for my bike. The graphics company couldn't sell me the graphics due to a licensing agreement that would not allow them to sell the KTM logo outside of the UK. I had made arrangements with Lew to have the graphics shipped to him then he shipped them to me here in the States. Thanks again Lew. With hunting season going on I haven't had much time to fit them to the bike. After looking at them for over a week I finally had a chance today to get them on the bike.

No problem mate glad your happy with them, like the SMT logo at the front as well.

Did you get any bubbles when fitting?

Also they cost about £150 Kev but I think that was including my postage.

Kev I believe they were around £130 plus shipping to the US from Lew.

Lew, I used a spray bottle with soapy water and a hair dryer to work out all the air bubbles. I did have to trim a couple places as the fitment wasn't quite right.

Was it the 990 rear decals you had to trim? I had to do mine.

I had to trim the right side a little. I also had to trim the tank decal as it was a little to tall and a little off the edge of the nose piece in 2 spots.

These look great. Are they a solid graphic? I have an all black SMT and would like to bring the tail piece and the lower 'R' in to the bike.

There basically the same as MX bike graphics so there's its an individual piece for each section of the bike.

Lew, I have a friend leaving for England in a couple of days, and he'll be there for 10 days. I sent an email to the company, but havent heard back. Any chance you would know how to reach them? Getting a 2011 SMT in a couple of days (with a measly 325 miles on it! HEE HEE) and I want to put this set of graphics on it. My friend says he can pick them up for me and bring back home. Would sure love to arrange this ASAP. any help is appreciated.

Hi Trevor

In the past ive just emailed lr_designs@btinternet.com and they usually get back to
me if not maybe give a call if you can.

Do you know what design your looking for as they dont do 'kits' for the SMT but they should still have the template. If you want I can send you the pdf of mine over?

Yes, if you could send me the PDF that would help greatly! I wasn't sure if they had it in their system already or not. But the PDF would be awesome. Also, did you have them do your wheels? They look just like my SMR wheels which I really like. Thanks so much!!!!!
