New SMT owner in Kent. UK

Post by Bulldozer » Tue Nov 02, 2010 12:03 pm

Hello Everyone,

Just brought myself a brand new SMT , for all you hardcore KTM fans im afraid its the slower Silver version tho lol ;)

Done about 200 miles on it now and im very impressed.. Having mainly ridden sports bikes in the past (R1's , Blades, Gixers) its a nice change to be sat upright and the bike is so light and flickable. I mainly ride on the continent, cant wait to get it out to some "proper" roads in the Spring!

I do find the throttle a bit snatchy low down, but i have already fitted a g2 400 throttle cam and a 16 tooth front sprocket which has helped a lot..

Got a set of cans on order and a freeflowing airfilter, o2 elimanators and SAS blanking plates.

Im quite a big lump, so i have set the suspension to sports setting as i found the standard settings a bit soft and wallowy, just gotta get rid of the crappy sport attack tyres now, but cant justify binning them just yet!

Anyhow, just wanted to say hi
