I run this mount as well, its pricey though for what it is, i didnt find the ktm PP one too terrible, just needed proper tightening but tgis one is solid for do...

Re: RE: Re: Ergo Seat

Has the ergo seat got the same option as high and low setting. I heard comments that it is quite a it higher than the standard seat. Also is it possible to just get the rider seat and keep using the standard pillar seat together Yes same height adjustable settings. I didn't notice the ergo seat bei...

Re: Is there a future for SMT?

Well, a visit to the NEC has sold (or will do) another Super Duke GT. My name will be going on the waiting list for 01/03/2016. That is as long as my dealer has his sensible head on and not the "I'm going to play on this suckers hunger for the latest and greatest bike" (arrogant) head on. Super sexy...

New Sub Forum??

OK so where will the Super Duke GT fit in on the forum front? I guess I'm going to need to know after having made a creamy mess on the seat of one at the NEC. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y206/Nick280/20151202_145409_zpsk10nre5z.jpg Looking on the KTM website, it has its own section, "Sport Tour...

Re: Is there a future for SMT?

I think it's a stunning looking bike. If anything, the orange version should have had a black tank. Apart from that, it looks the biz. I don't think KTM had world mile muncher in mind when they designed it, they've got the 1290SA for that. I bet you could do 300 miles a day easy enough on it. It's g...

Re: 3rd design airbox for 1190.

Just an update. This is what the inside of the airbox looks like after 5000 miles with the latest airbox Base and DNA power parts filter fitted. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y206/Nick280/Vehicles/Bikes/20151114_155919_zpsl8grr4qq.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y206/Nick280/Vehicles/Bikes/2...

Re: ECU Tuning 2014 1190 Adventure

Just to add, there is a third revision to the 1190 airbox which involve a new way the fix the air filter into position which eliminates misalignment, but it doesn't address the lid seal issue though. We'll just have to rely on a little grease to aid that.

Re: KTM 1290 Super Adventure. My Review

The 1290 screen is much better but so is the power parts screen for the 1190. I have fit one on mine and it's brilliant! 90mph with no turbulence and I'm 6'. Hope that helps :)

Re: 1190 Adventure Wheels

I've decided to get the wheel repaired due to Alpina not yet doing a 3 or 3.5" rim in 19" diameter and the 12 week lead on kineo wheels (not like a can afford a second bikes worth of money for wheels). So, as I've been let down locally, I've sent it to Jim Aim today for their guys down their to sort...

Re: 1190 Adventure Wheels

Cheers for that fella, I hadn't spotted those :) I've sent the a message asking if the OEM tyre pressure monitors can be retained or not. They are a stunning wheel but at a price. I think I'd best put the computer away tonight before the alcohol buy them lol. I've just noted Alpina only offer 2.5" r...

1190 Adventure Wheels

Hello, My front wheel on my 1190 requires a the rim replaced due to a little too much adventure in recent riding. I have priced the rim a nearing £500.00 excluding the stripping down and rebuilding costs which leads my to looking at a full replacement rim at nearing £700.00 with new hub, new spokes ...

Re: Chain

Cheers for the advice fellas. I only noticed something was hanging out of the chain so I had a closer look. It was the xring. I've managed to get a chain from intobikes, should arrive Monday. Ordered the AFAM XHR 525. Ordered new sprockets too from Jim Aim, they should come tomorrow. 16/42. New tyre...

Re: Chain

I kind of thought as much. Don't fancy getting stuck near Durness.

Just quickly looking, do companies not stock chains, over 5 days for delivery! PITA.
