SMT handlebars replacement

I wouldn't use a bicycle bar on a motorcycle. I had protaper on my mountain bike and it was much much lighter than a motorcycle bar.

Re: 3k rpm without throttle. HELP!

Resurrecting that one but I have a question.
Installed rc8r throttle cam today, adjusted front cable (pull) with tuneecu but the other one (push?) seems have no substantial tension. Do you adjust it at the throttle body? What does it actually do?? What is the optimum slack for this one?
Thanks

Re: 990 Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

If I remember correctly Kevxtx has mentioned that one could run map #20 with standard stacks or with rc8 on both cylinders. I think standard stacks AND standard exhaust would affect AFR... If I was you, I would check AFR on dyno (it is really cheap) just to see if map is OK for my bike, especially o...

Re: 990 Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

If not planning to get a custom map or a PCV with auto tune I would go with modifications that I could find maps for.

Re: Recommendations: Hard Panniers

I have the Ktm hard aluminum panniers, they tick all of your boxes apart from being narrower than handlebars. I have aftermarket bars (800mm) and they are a bit wider, however never had any issue. I always leave more space while I'm loaded, I even do filtering/lane splitting. Top box is small compar...

Gimlet, just a clarification.
is the front preload 7.5 CCW from fully in OR CW from fully out?
