Re: SUSPENSION SETTINGS THREAD

How should I set the sag? If I set 30% ridersag of whole suspension travel. The sag will differ front and rear. And people say that I should have same amount of sag front and rear. And if I measure the rear sag, 180 * 0,3 = 54mm. Can I still subtract 54mm when measuring ridersag from axle-nut and su...

Leovince map

Just mounted leovince cans back to the bike. Ordered TuneECU kit from eBay a couple of days ago. Anybody know which map to use? It’s the 2013 model.

Re: 990 Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

So where can I find maps for the smt -13 with aftermarket exhaust? When I look in the library on TuneECU website the title of the maps is just numbers. How do I know what map fit what bike?

Re: 990 Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

So is TuneECU worth getting even though you wont run it on a dyno. Like are there a settings to change if i have a leovince aftermarket exhaust or if it’s just stock are there still settings to change to make it better/smoother? And where do I purchase this TuneECU ? I have the -2013 modell and live...

Checking fault codes and so on.

Hello i do all my maintenance myself on my bike. And now I want to check and reset any fault codes on the bike. And I want to adjust the throttle cable but the manual says to use a ktm-diagnostic tool to first set the throttle port something in the right position. Is there a cheap thing I can by and...

Re: Pulsating front brake/on off throttle

Brake calipers off, clean them and the pistons with hot soapy water. Apply a little brake fluid to the pistons as you push them back in. Clean pads off with some sandpaper and a small pick. Lightly sand brake disc surface and clean over with brake cleaner. Put a nut n bolt through each bobbin and ti...

Interesting result.

Hello, i have been riding the ktm 990 smt for a couple of years now. And i always thought the throttle was really twitchy and it was hard to drive, i thought it was the nature of the bike(made a thread about the twitchy throttle). But then after the inspection i had to change back to the original ca...

Pulsating front brake/on off throttle

No vibrations at higher speeds this is most pronounced around 30 kmh - 0 kmh. Even though i keep same brake pressure the breaking force is altern...
