Mine doesn't have abs, it's the 2010 model....next I'll bleed the system to see if it helps.

Rear brake issue

Hi, There seems to be many discussions regarding rear brake problems...however I didn't find any dealing with the issue I currently have. I get this funny jerking from the rear brake and even the leaver is pumping up and down under heavier braking. When I first apply the break it's all good, but a f...

Calsci Touring Windshield

Hi, I noted that there was an old thread about the Calsci Touring Windshield...I've been considering buying one, but would be nice to get some feedback as it's relatively expensive @ $200 for screen + $80 for shipment + 24% toll (to EU). Beauty of it is in the eye of the beholder, for sure, but for ...

Re: ITG intake noise

Thanks for input. I used Twin Air bio power spray for the filter. Seems to work fine, with the exception of that slightly too loud and high pitch "tamburine" noise at around 3500 rpm...makes the bike sound like a lawnmower  Need to next try another oil. On the upside I believe the eng...

ITG intake noise

Hi, I installed the itg intake kit and as such it works as expected, but the frog like barking sound at around 3500 rpm is some what annoying... not much, but a bit. Has anyone done anything to make it less loud? Both below and above 3500 rpm it sounds great even with full throtle. Highly recommend ...

Re: Wings baffle removal made difficult(?)

That's the link. Have you done anything to the airbox (replacement)? It's the best thing I ever did to mine and well worth it. It's a mod that really finishes the bike off and has turned it into a keeper for me. If you just wish to run the Akra map, you can just make sure SAS is unticked and it wil...

Re: Wings baffle removal made difficult(?)

Finally went and removed the baffles...too much noise for my liking, so put them back + repacked the cans while at it. In principal waste of time, but fun, so all good. I know this is not the place to ask this, and it's a stupid question to begin with, but where does one fine the list of tuneecu map...

Re: Wings baffle removal made difficult(?)

I can see the baffles are bolted to the cans, but to access those bolts seems I need to remove the carbon end cones. Most cans seem to have bolts or access on the outside, but these for sure don't... at least to me it seems I need to take the rivets out to remove the cones... strange??

Wings baffle removal made difficult(?)

I see most baffles are easy to take out but my Wings cans seem to not have any other option but to drill the rivets off?? See pic below - no rubber plug in the end cone as stated in instructions... any suggestions how to go about removing them? To get all rivets out one I suppose needs to remove the...

Re: What's this plug for??

Oh, so it serms. Also found the other wire under the plastic cover. It has a dongle on it so I suppose it's just to eliminate the 02 sensor... why again one wants to do that? Stupid question, I know, but since the bike still has the sas gear on it, stock intake and only wings slip on's I'm wondering...

What's this plug for??

Hi,
What is the plug for shown on the pic below? Two white & two black wires, black plug with a rubber cover on... I was looking at pics from other 2010 smt's, but didn't see this on those :?:
