Re: Tank Bag

I like how it sits on the tank. Does it expand from 5-9L?

What parts are you wanting to paint?

Wheels look awesome. Will be definitely doing mine this coming winter.

I have no problems swithcing to Smoto mode. It resets when the "key" is cycled, but it does work.

If you've never ridden a flashed Vmax then you won't know what I mean, but I will always have one. Might want to check one out if you can.
Buddy I grew up with has a Vmax. He said the same thing. He'll never sell it.

Anybody ever try Shinko tires? I ran them on my last 3 bikes, and liked them a great deal. In terms of cents per mile, they were unbeatable.
My father has used Shinko, and thought they were fine, but I wouldn't use them on an sdr. Performance bikes deserve performance rubber.

If it were not too loud, I'd be interested. I get home between 12:30 and 4:30 in the morning. Can't have a good ole neighbor waker.

Re: My 2017 SDR Build

Your bike came out pretty good. Not a "cobb job" for sure. I want to do some variant of the wheel strips. I commute in the dark, and the reflective stripes work good. I also want to get some parts painted, hopefully after the first of the year.

Re: Heated grips

I have experience with this one. The 2017 grip is different. I ordered a set for my bike, there is a gap between the throttle tube and the housing. I can get a picture in the next day or so. I had my dealer send me a set for the 2017, now I have both. The 2016 grips do work, just that gap and they a...

Re: My 2017 SDR Build

I like those rim strips. They don't happen to be reflective? I ride at night quite a bit, and had reflective tape rim stripes on my last bike. It worked pretty good. Looked cool, and was functional.

Re: My 2017 SDR Build

Looks good. I am planning on a splash of paint, but need to wait until the 1st of the year. Question: have you ever used the paint that can be peeled off? The guy who will most likely paint my bike says it is the way to go. Thanks, yes I've used that paint, in particular Plasti Dip. I would never u...

I went to a 16T countershaft sprocket and it seems about perfect to me.
Do you ever cruise at highway speeds?
