Re: 2018 TFT Display Odometers/Fuel Consumption/Range
UK mpg are 20% different to US mpg are they not? Perhaps it has the wrong program in the computing area, just a thought.

Re: TFT Display Day\Night Lighting Issue
I think it is in the bottom row warning area where the neutral light is to the RH side.

Re: Stupid Little Video
How did you manage to cut the wind noise out? I have tried all sorts of external mic positions and always here too much wind noise.

Re: Still running in.
No choice for us, even the super unleaded stuff has ethanol in it. No point paying extra, these things are supposed to use it and should be capable even though we know parts are not. All down to costs I suppose.

Re: Loss of low end torque AR exhaust and removing exhaust valve.
Fuelling should be set up for the back pressure and scavenging necessary. If the back pressure is wrong then fuel will be wasted straight out of the exhaust. More usual to find this problem with 2 strokes though.

Re: fuel pump or fuel filter fail
Getting used to it, still more vibrations than I would like but grip puppies helped. I feel the vibes more on this due to having to hang on to the beast, Caponaut had a definite power surge as the revs rise where this just puls and pulls until the front goes very light. Quick shifter is a real blast...

Re: fuel pump or fuel filter fail
no Ethanol Think that statement says is all Dave, In the UK everything has Ethanol in it. Same as issue with El Capo fuel sender, the plastic they use seems to dissolve in the damn stuff. When I spoke to my dealer about it he said the filters were going soft and collapsing, don't know if that's true.

Balance shaft and Vibrations on 1290 SAS
If there are any engine gurus out there please may I ask this question: What effect would it have if the balance shaft had been put in one or two teeth out? Trying to think of a reason for the excessive vibes that start from around 5k-5.5k then get worse right up until red line. Mechanic acknowledge...

That many near misses and then a real accident! I think you should get something a little more compliant that can match your speed and capabilities.

Re: Still running in.
Run in done, first service done, tank/filter problem resolved. Fitted some grip puppies to lessen the vibes and seems all OK. Screen is a little slow to go back to daylight mode and has little dots all over it in sunshine but just minor things. A very small clip of today in North Yorkshire: https://...

Re: Windshield buffeting
I don't get buffeting, I am 6' with 31" inseam. Screen on highest gives the least wind noise from my Nolan N90. My only real dislike is the vibrations in the bars at 6k rpm. The right hand mirror becomes almost a blur. Do they all do this or not? Just got first service done and ticked over 630 miles...

Re: 2017 Keyless issue
Not the same issue, but a question regarding the Keyless system. Is it the same as the BMW one? i.e. if you start it then drive off leaving the key behind does it keep running until you get to your destination and turn it off only to find you cannot restart it? Or does the dash warning pop up to let...
