Re: No start?

Just spotted your post while trawling the forum......... if the problem persists, consider having the fuel pump filter inspected or replaced as there has been a few recalls/comments about ethanol fuels reacting with the filter element and turning it it mush. This usually manifests as stalling while ...

Re: 40 T rear sprocket

Cheers SuperDukeGT......the sprocket on order from my local is a Supersprox. Sorry to Thylacine.......this forum is a bit odd - gotta go searching thoroughly to find new posts..... I saw the Euro suppliers that Dave NZ was writing about - they had either Japanese high quality JT brand or a high qual...

Re: KTM paddock stand

Agreed...... I used to stick mine up on the ss rear stand (to make space) but one day I noticed how springy it was with a near full tank of fuel.......and started to wonder what might happen if the ss rear stand ever broke. Since I'm scratching for space in my over crowded garage.....I'm using the r...

Re: Warranty coverage for 2016 SDGT?

Haven't had a look at my owners manual, but I suspect the limited warranty mentioned above might be for race track usage. My GT has 2year (40k kms(?) from memory). I had the Brembo rotors replaced at 7k kms with no arguments (warrantee). Naturally the catch is all service work has to be completed as...

Agreed........I like mine as it is......and it's comforting to know the updates are mostly cosmetic/TFT dash type (ie no motor mods necessary).

Re: 1290 S crap brakes

G'day Terrified........I was just trawling around the forum (not much happening in the 1290GT section)..... I think you have a problem with your particular 1290S and should get onto the KTM dealer asap. I've got a GT, and have never ridden the Adv-S......but one thing KTM are good at is fitting kill...

Re: New owner here!

Welcome in advance Rider....... oddly enough the Gt keeps me dry due to the shape of the tank and the height (I think) - my boots are goretex but they don't seem to cop much spray from the front wheel. Cold climates will make you want a taller screen like the Pooo-ig (there are a few to choose from ...

Re: 2017 KTM SDGT- South Carolina USA

Congrat's on turning to Orange ;) ..... Hey, gotta ask ...... what's with the reference to improved 'reliabiity' tag? My GT is 10880kms young and not quite a year old - starts everytime/all the time and does not use any oil (true). The only mod most will need is to slightly alter the gearing by usin...

Cheers all...... I had a Ducati rider call me one morning......her crutch was stuck and she didn't know how to unstick-it.....(yeah alright, settle down  ). When i got there, I sat on the bike, pulled the lever in, and fired the 921 up no problems(though i was ready for an involuntary take off...

Hah, not really a superduke experience......well maybe.....since the GT will have to shimmy over a bit to let me park a new stablemate beside the Kato & the Honda........ I've finally beaten my inner accountant and upgraded to a 2018 Hyundai Tuscon Active with 18" wheels ( everything els...

Re: New Superduke GT owner experiences.

Geeze, Mt Twisty....... is that bare knuckle bar ends on your bikes? With all that white stuff on the floor, you should fit some hand guards (Acerbis are great, but there are others - just go with the single 'end mount' type as the rugged dual mount types might hit the dash on full turn). With hand ...
