Re: Accessories

Can it be 3D printed ? First parts are printed successfull. We developed a second version for a higher Position of the shield. You find it here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/E7QKPSD27/ktm-sdr1290-verkl-halter-verbau-oben?key=0dc37712a5457de7e8d2bdc05fbe053a Halter_Verkleidung_oben_Var2_Bild4.j...

It is a solution of the German Forum.
The windshield is a part of the Duke690.
The Holder is a 3D Printed Stainless Steel Part.
We Design a CAD File und upload the file to a
Company who could produce it in Stainless Steel.

Will this bracket fit the 17 SDR?

Thanks

Those are great pics, that is exactly what want to do.

I have a buddy who I think still has access to milling equipment, I just sent him your pics to see if he can replicate it.

Thanks, I appreciate the pics.

Re: '17 Weights after Weight Reductions PICS

I didn't consciously change the weight bias, I just added the parts I wanted on the bike. There was no thought on weight distribution. What have I noticed? The bike changes directions instantly, as I have little seat time with the bike in a stock form it may have turned just as quick before mods. I'...

Re: '17 Weights after Weight Reductions PICS

OK, at a computer so I can type out a roper reply. 1st off these numbers are very rudimentary and may not be entirely accurate doing it with the 2 scales, there seems to be some debate on that. The suggested 50 Lbs. difference is the difference between my current dry weight (Everything but Gas) 380...

Re: Aftermarket mirrors

IMG_4073.JPG JackRabbit, Imho a good bar end mirror is the way to go since you never have to get mirrors to allow a good view and give a clean look at the same time. CRG makes a very versatile mirror in the Hindsight lane splitter. I had a buddy who has a machine shop cut a groove in my stock bar e...

'17 Weights after Weight Reductions PICS

I know this isn't the most accurate way to weigh a motorcycle but for my needs its fine. Major Items of Weight reduction efforts: 1.) BST Rims 2.) Anti Gravity Lithium Ion Battery 3.) Full Titanium Austin Racing Exhaust 4.) Full Emissions removal to include SAS, Canister and all associated hardware....

No worries on thread stealing, heck I was Gawking at your Helmet that you have for sale this AM while drinking my coffee. Re: Best. Wheelie. Ever. (Followed by the worst)

It was beautiful: a right turn off the green light, the rear slid out a touch under hard throttle, and then it grabbed and the front wheel came up. I wasn't even vertical after the turn, yet... MTC is still on so it all sorted itself out, but I was still pretty happy with my effort. Not l...
