Re: Being an Adolescent

Drain Oil, Remove OEM Clutch Cover and Pressure Plate, install OEM (I think, they may provide a different rubber O-ring) O-ring gasket on new Cover, install new Pressure plate, install new cover.

Very Easy.

Being an Adolescent

Took the 17 SDR out for a little blast tonight and had a funny experience. I stopped at a Convenience store on my way home and run into my Step Sons 16 Y.O. friend and his friend, both are not the most academically gifted but seem to exceed at lifting weights, just to give you and idea of them. I'm ...

Re: Dyno Tuned\Upgrades

Sounds good, the OFT is a solid product from what I've read about it and from the users who have commented on it. Shiv is a great guy to deal with, very helpful.

Re: Dyno Tuned\Upgrades

Spiff, copied and pasted the below from Facebook Discussion on my Tune, Chris is the tuner. Chris Robillard: Powergate3+ Which is made by Alientech is the device, we add our own mapping to it. Alex Man: Any differences or advantages compared to the Open Flash Tablet Shiv Pathak is using? Chris Robil...

Re: 1290 R. ECU re-flash.

Bren tuning used my bike to develop a Flash Tune for the SDR ECU. Should be up and available on their site, if not call them. They are in the States though.

Re: Dyno Tuned\Upgrades

They are using some type of handheld tuner\software and probably other things I am not aware of. I can try to find out what there using as I believe the Tuner mentioned it in a post of mine somewhere. But all of the changes they do make, are changes made to the Tables and Parameters in the ECU of th...

Dyno Tuned\Upgrades

Hello all, I haven't posted much here lately as I've been more active on the Facebook KTM SDR pages https://www.facebook.com/groups/SuperdukeCarnage/?ref=bookmarks and https://www.facebook.com/groups/382443468554838/ so I thought I'd post some updates to my 2017 SDR and what I've done to it. Current...

Re: Akra tune disabled cruise control

I've noticed that in track mode, at least with anti-wheelie off, that cruise control can't be enabled. The cruise control icon appears on the dash but can't be set. Are you in track mode or have traction control disabled? Try after enabling the safety features. This hasn't been my experience at all...

Re: Removing decals on 2.0

On my Black 17 SDR I removed the Chrome KTM badges with a heat gun. What's cool is it leaves a ghosted blacker KTM logo on the Radiator wing. Its not left over sticker residue either, kinda odd to tell you the truth but it looks mint. I'll post up a pic later this evening when home from work. https:...

Shameless Request

This is going to come off as real pathetic, hopeless, and lame but I was hoping you'all could do me a favor. I've been watching a ton of YouTubers, Shmee150, Royal Jordanian, Lamb Chops and really admire what they do and how they do it. I've been trying to make videos, trying to get better, trying t...

Re: Painting Rear Sub-frame

Im confused by this post?

Was that bike pictured a White SDR at birth or a Black one?

If it was Black it should have came with an all black Frame\Subframe?

If it was A White one it appears the Rad wings were changed from White to Black?

Of all the aftermarket products I've bought for the 17 SDR, the Evotech Frame Sliders we're packaged and presented the best.

The Evotechs are like a piece of finely crafted Jewelry. Have you seen how them come packaged>?, Stunning.

Quality, Fit and Finish is amazing. Trex maybe great but IMHO they don't look good, I have many R+G products but liked the look and style of the Evotechs better.

Re: Servo removal / relocate rear brake res

You don't need any bracket, there's a frame tab were the Servo Box mounted that can be used, in conjunction with one of the servo mount bolts, that will have the Resv. cleanly mounted up. https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/26994080_10212651603263795_6449711207468761640_n.jpg?oh=1b093335e4...

Painted my BST Rim.

Well, not the rim, just the Flange. I wanted to take flange off and Powder Coat it, BST recommended against removing it stating it would send rim out of balance. I used paint from Color Rite. Used their complete system. It does look more like the 2016 SE color, but Its what they offered for the 2017...
