Fat Bars and Heated Grip Install.

Just got done installing a set of Orange Ano'd Renthal Fat Bars and Heated Grips. Though I know this is a lie, I feel my '17 SDR is getting close to being done Mod wise....But are they ever really done? https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/21761708_10211679694206676_1665426981990547534_n.jp...

Re: What have you broken today?

The fasteners don't appear to be the highest speck stuff. I don't think this bike likes to be taken apart and put back together. One really needs to pay attention when putting a wrench or screwdriver to the bike. I have 3 screws I want to replace. Of all of the work that I have done I am surprised ...

Re: Heated Grips 2017

Here is a picture of the connection for the heated grips on a 2017 SDR. Just pull off the plastic front cover assembly over directionals. Its the wire with White Tag (Heated Grips) on the right side of pic. https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/21753446_10211652027635029_7218090135807124827...

What have you broken today?

When installing the Quad lock Cell Phone Mount (Bicycle version) I needed to remove TFT Screen and tilt down the Headlight assembly. Fast forward a week or so the top headlight self tapping screw falls out and is lost on the road, resulting in my headlight leaning forward on its lower hinge, Zip tie...

Re: Tail light plastic broken

Just an update all. Got the programmable led taillight installed and setup for continuous strobe when stopped and brake on. Really cool and should be good letting anyone behind while sitting in traffic see me better. The integrated turn signals let me pull the rear stock signals from my Yosh fender...

Re: Evotech Frame Slider Install.

Looks very nice Fry! Are you tracking the Sdr? Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk I've just about completed all of the mods I wanted to with the intentions of completing some Track Days, which will be a 1st for me. I've ridden in the dirt and on the street for 30+ years yet have never done a track...

Evotech Frame Slider Install.

Just got done installing Evotech's Frame Sliders on my 2017 Super Duke. I am very impressed with the quality of the Evotech products which extends all the way to the packaging of the items. The fit and finish, and the ease of install couldn't have been better. https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/...

Re: It's All About the Packaging.

Top notch kit for my 2017 SDR.] That looks good - not sure if you know or not, but KTM had a very, very, very similar kit available in 2014, and mysteriously it was discontinued after that model year. You need to quit fucking around and get that money on the track! J/k, I know that's your goal. I d...

I have a GT-Air and a NeoTech. Both use the same drop down shield, and they are the basis for my comparison with this HJC.
Yeah, the HJC drop Down Visor is just plain flimsy in its operation.

Re: New Helmet Perfect Match.

By a new liner and then return the helmet. The foam of the shell is what we modified. You can't buy that. It fits OK now anyway. I have other criticisms of the helmet though. It *feels* cheap compared to my Shoei and Arai helmets. The liner feels cheap, the flip down dark shield is flimsy and noisy...

New Helmet Perfect Match.

Ever since I saw this particular HJC color scheme I knew I had to have it. It had to be designed expressly for the KTM Super Duke R. The Orange is a perfect match, the "R" on the back of the Lid is an amazing touch. I added the KTM sticker, which is a "KTMTWINS" sticker, I just cut off the bottom "T...

Re: 911 RS and a Triumph 675

That bike sounds fantastic. Thank you. And to be fair, I had a passenger on the back and the 675 rider did the classic "Fly By" on me, but nonetheless it was cool messing around with the 675 and the 911RS....In the 911 video above there is a short period in the clip where you can hear the 911 Exhau...

Re: Sturdy iPhone mount for 2017 SDR?

The USB is only live when the "key is on". I have a Ram mount that works pretty good. (There is a rumor on the street that you should keep it under 160mph, :) but at normal sppeds all is good.) I am unsure what the charging system puts out on the bike. I would think if you give the battery a chance...

R+G Left Sidecover Protector\Slider, super easy install, the rest of the R+G stuff (Frt\Rear Axle Sliders, and Right Sidecover Protector\Slider) will be in by weeks end. https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/21270909_10211515322537487_5284355634833933926_n.jpg?oh=437ede20948697a8f4a46643bc6b...
