Re: Painted my BST Rim.

Thanks. It took a big leap of faith for me to do it, but I like the results.

Re: Removing decals on 2.0

On my Black 17 SDR I removed the Chrome KTM badges with a heat gun. What's cool is it leaves a ghosted blacker KTM logo on the Radiator wing. Its not left over sticker residue either, kinda odd to tell you the truth but it looks mint. I'll post up a pic later this evening when home from work. https:...

Shameless Request

This is going to come off as real pathetic, hopeless, and lame but I was hoping you'all could do me a favor. I've been watching a ton of YouTubers, Shmee150, Royal Jordanian, Lamb Chops and really admire what they do and how they do it. I've been trying to make videos, trying to get better, trying t...

Re: Painting Rear Sub-frame

War, I haven't been on this site in a while, wen't and became active in the 2 big Facebook SDR sites.

As soon as I posted and saw your name I recalled you made a lot of changes to your White Baby.

Re: Painting Rear Sub-frame

Im confused by this post?

Was that bike pictured a White SDR at birth or a Black one?

If it was Black it should have came with an all black Frame\Subframe?

If it was A White one it appears the Rad wings were changed from White to Black?

Of all the aftermarket products I've bought for the 17 SDR, the Evotech Frame Sliders we're packaged and presented the best.

Re: evotech frame sliders

The Evotechs are like a piece of finely crafted Jewelry. Have you seen how them come packaged>?, Stunning.

Quality, Fit and Finish is amazing. Trex maybe great but IMHO they don't look good, I have many R+G products but liked the look and style of the Evotechs better.

Re: Servo removal / relocate rear brake res

You don't need any bracket, there's a frame tab were the Servo Box mounted that can be used, in conjunction with one of the servo mount bolts, that will have the Resv. cleanly mounted up. https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/26994080_10212651603263795_6449711207468761640_n.jpg?oh=1b093335e4...

Painted my BST Rim.

Well, not the rim, just the Flange. I wanted to take flange off and Powder Coat it, BST recommended against removing it stating it would send rim out of balance. I used paint from Color Rite. Used their complete system. It does look more like the 2016 SE color, but Its what they offered for the 2017...

Re: New OOpart Exh

Basically I had a friend make a Photoshop pic with Same Side Dual Round Outlets positioned directly together, kinda like a Shot Gun Barrels. I was told if I could get 4 people to commit to buying he'd build a run of them.

Im still trying to sort out my next Exh and am just mulling over options.

Re: New OOpart Exh

Sound is really loud when fully open, and deep base that it vibrates a lot of things around it, as well as set up car alarm. It is as loud as you can get, while still having all the high pitch and raspy sound removed. dB comes anyway. You don't have to is it, but it will be based of stealth core wh...

I'm working with NAM MY on creating this.

If we could get 4 people to commit he'll make it.

Re: My 2017 SDR Build

1st, your bike and mods are awesome. I was inline for a White 17 SDR, ended up taking delivery of a Black one (1st one in the dealership) and am glad I did after seeing various white ones online and in person. To me, a unified look is better, and though I bleed Orange and love the color having misma...

Re: Well, This happened (Updated)

I thought you can buy DB for it? At least this is what AR website is advertising. I might consider one to replace my AKRA slip-on. But as you said it has to be as loud/quiet as my AKRA. Everything more than that is going to annoy me. Yes, the AR Hi Slung came with a DB insert, I never tried it out ...

Here is video walk around-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0w7fXnn4ZfU I like it. Now if they could quiet it down a bit. (Utube videos don't give a real indication of how loud exhausts are.) Id consider buying one. I do have the Hi-slung sitting in my garage. http://i.imgur.com/IR6IlVeb.jpg Love t...

Re: Well, This happened (Updated)

OK. I don't like the way it looks. The lines do not mesh well with the lines of the motorcycle. It really has that "turd in a punchbowl" look to me. I have not heard it in person but suspect it is way louder than I would want. I have the Akrapovic EVO system that is as loud as I could live with on ...
