Re: Pikes Peak - KTM

Much more existing video, with different camera angels.

Take a look at 2:02 or 9:20, the guy is seriously scared of surface friction.

[quote="dukebadboy"]I actually do only ride mountains. Thats why I'm slowly looking into Supercorsa. Supercorsa SP's are not for everyone but, if you want maximum edge-grip on dry pavement and precise steering , you've found it. 8-) [url]https://ultimatemotorcycling&#4...

Re: RE: Re: Something more sticky than Metzler M7RR

I realize most of you don't ride mountain curves every time you jump on your bike so you may get a laugh out of this--I run Supercorsa's at 30 front and 28 rear cold on the street. Yes, the rear edges wear fast (1,700 to 2,000 miles) but... they stick like a cat-on-a-carpet on dry curves. They are ...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Something more sticky than Metzler M7RR

The rear inflated to the same as the front, will not provide the same contact patch, because it will not be able to compress/distort to create a better contact patch leaving the corner, causing spin, or the traction control intervention if it's active. [quote="dukebadboy"] Thank you! That's very useful. Let me repeat the tests with Metzler. No problem, glad you think so, but don't bother until you get a good tire gauge, you said yours sucks, so get a good one, or you will be wasting time. A good tire gauge is usually not cheap. ...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Something more sticky than Metzler M7RR

I would strongly urge you to FIRST buy a very accurate tire gauge, that only reads to 50psi max or the bar equivalent if that's your preference. Once you have this, ALWAYS handle it as though it were an uncooked egg, less you stand an excellent chance of throwing the calibration off, when dropping/...
