Re: Austin RS22 and Side Panniers

Fwiw, I'd like to hear you thoughts on the SW Motech bags. They are perfectly fine, best saddle bags I ever had, light and quite spacious (they have extra room if you unzip them). What I like the best, they dont affect aerodynamics or weight distribution of the bike much, they are basically invisib...

Austin RS22 and Side Panniers

Hi I want to get Austin RS22 HI-SLUNG exhaust but not sure whether it will fit my SW-motech panniers. Anyone tried to use them together ? I assume panniers will touch the exhaust pipes on both sides, is this okay ? Can I wrap panniers in some insulation paper ? Any other side panniers options availa...

Drain Oil, Remove OEM Clutch Cover and Pressure Plate, install OEM (I think, they may provide a different rubber O-ring) O-ring gasket on new Cover, install new Pressure plate, install new cover.

Very Easy.
Fry

Do you remember torque settings on the pressure plate and cover case bolts ?

Re: Being an Adolescent

Thanks!

Is it easy to install it? Do I just remove the old cap and place a new pressure plate and cover? Do I need to drain oil before doing that?

Re: Mirrors!

CRG Arrow. These are fault less. Look good, loads of visibility, rock solid. Ok one fault, not cheap but that’s cos of the above. Buy cheap, buy twice. Totally agree. CRG mirrors are by far the best side mirrors ever made for SDR. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn....

Re: PCV O2 dongles with Rotti/Full Akra Evo

Don't need a pcv with the Akra map. My local KTM dealer said a pcv n Roth air Filter would only add a couple of hp vs The cost around 1k installed. Advices to use rotty dongles to smooth out Idle. I am also using a Austin Racing slip on with The full Akra system. Sounds badazz and runs Grrrrreat !!...

Re: aftrmarket rotors question

I never tried Galfer, but I'm running Braketech Cobra SS. Again, I didn't ride aggressive enough on OEM ones to make good comparison, but never had issues with Braketech. I'm using them with Ferodo SinterGrip ST. Although they don't have aggressive initial bite, as they are linear, but they do stop ...

Re: Best braking pads

My 5 Cents = Unless you're constantly riding super aggressively or doing track days, I'd suggest a semi-metallic (semi-sintered) pad from a brand name like Ferodo or EBC. They might not have the initial 'grab' of a sintered pad, but they do the job and are easier on your rotors and wallet. I'm prob...

Congrats!

I've been owning SDR for about a year, it's a super bike.

But right now, I'm extremely excited to buy S1000rr and start tracking it.

Re: RE: Re: Best braking pads

Best in what sense? Feel, power, life, performance per dollar? Any top line pad from almost any manufacturer is great, comes down to personal preference. I've used EBC HH FA188, Galfer 1375 and currently Vesrah SRJL-XX, which is a track only pad variant of the RJL-XX. There are a lot of people who ...
