Re: Different front brake pads?

Sounds like a warped disc, keep pushing for a warrantee claim, I've heard of a few 1290Rs having warped disc's.

Re: PR5s

Hey DaveW i got the 2 sets of PR5s delivered to my door for $1000, 500 each set, they are cheeper than the PR4s, from what I'm hearing they have more carbon and less silicone on the shoulders for better dry side grip, which i think will overcome the PR4s shortcomings. Im going to run them on both my...

Re: Fork seal gone

Dasjefe, that makes sense, regarding some defect. All my Japanese bikes of the past didn't seem to have this issue (well, maybe many many miles and wheelies later that is) but this is a new bike. I'll try that, but I think I'm going to shoot an email to KTM too, about this issue. I also had a prelo...

Re: Exhaust Servo

Hi guys. New here but have been stalking as a guest for a while! I am a couple of months in with my first KTM SDGT 2017. Great bike but I have caused myself a few problems. I fitted a Remus link pipe and servo stopper shortly after I got the bike and all was good. After a few weeks I started gettin...

Re: Flashing E Realy Means One Gallon Left!!

It states the GT holds 23 litres, i once did 70Kms after the warning light started flashing, i put 22.5 litres in, so i must have been near to fumes. On my 1290R it stated 18 litres, i ran it dry and it took 18.8 litres, so KTMs seem to hold more than whats stated, which is a good thing, my last V4 ...

And at the end of the road is Milford Sound, incredible stunning place, mountains reach out from the sea, then the Homer tunnel on the way out. i can't wait to do it again next year.

NZ must be a pretty amazing place to ride.
It is dasjefe, and a great place to live, one particular road, and id say possibly the best motorcycle road to ride in the world is at the end of this tunnel, couple of pics.

Re: Top box carrier max load?

Does anybody know the recommended max load for the top box carrier? I’ve done a trip with top box full 48 ltr and also fairly heavy bag strapped on top, seems to be a fair bit of flex on the carrier arms . Was just a bit worried about hitting a pothole, if it would cope with the weight. Hopefully d...
