Re: Exhaust valve dongle
Des, it does just pull out, there two small tags but they just release with a little pressure, I think I did use a flat screwdriver to help seperate the plugs. But no latch toe clips to worry about. Has yours arrived yet, I’ve been to dam busy to refit the valve push pull thingy yet. Maybe in the we...

Re: Exhaust valve dongle
Let me know how you get on when it’s fitted Des, the dongle seems to work sometimes for awhile, then all of a sudden a fault code, engine seems to drop into a limp mode.

Re: Exhaust valve dongle
Well mine arrived 2 weeks back. I fitted it, test rode, and it kept throwing up fault codes, I tried ignition off and back on a few times, even disconnected the battery. Put the bike away for 2 weeks and rode the trusty Multistrsda. Took the GT out today, and fail codes, this time it was turning off...

Re: Rear Tyre Pressure censor smashed.
Yes you do, general pressure faults will go away once the tire is inflated, but with a broken or missing sensor you will have to take it to. KTM dealer, and they will turn off the the warning system via a computer link. It can be turned back on again once the wheel sensors are replaced. PS they ain’...

Re: Difficulty finding neutral
While on my 5000km South Island trip I noticed finding neutral very difficult. When I got home I bled the clutch, and now neutral is easy to find again.

Re: Well That Was a Surprise...
Jeeze Dave that’s a bloody shock, what a bugger for you, these things must come in 3s, my good mate just had a triple by pass, and my 42 year old youngest brother just last week had a heart attack, and he’s had 5 stents put in, but like you a few more can’t be repaired. I hope you heal well my good ...

Re: Where to buy Remus mid pipe?
Thanks mate Hey Des, I got my link pipe and muffler out of England, but I ordered it through an advertised site on eBay. I went with the Remus link pipe because it came with a little cam to replace the cam and cables for the exhaust valve, but now healtec make a dongle-plug, so you could even fit a...

Re: Exhaust valve dongle
Dongle ordered. ESE KT1 for us guys with the GT. 73 euros delivered to NZ. For you guys that have servo troubles, this is a great mod, it allows you to remove that dam exhaust valve setup which has been causing many problems. I have the little cam fitted with no valve setup, but now I can remove the...

Re: dyno percentage loss
Hi all, losses are losses....... chains have to be just right (clean & tensioned) tyres not worn and correct pressure, air filter perfect, new plugs(?) oil etc etc for a perfect figure. Maybe the other forums prepared their GT's and maybe they just hooked them up and did a run...... also, the motor...

Re: MTC Failure Disaster
I see the pictures also, i guess the question is, why did the spark plugs fail, leading to the engine damage. How many miles has the bike travelled?, Low milage i would think.

Re: MTC failure
Doesn't look like they have hit the piston, just looks like the plugs have just failed, maybe crap made, they also look very sooty, was the bike running rich? because these bikes run very lean for E4. hope they remove that missing piece of tag.

Re: Off with stock can, on with Remus can
The remus link pipe comes with a little cam that gets fitted in to the exhaust valve actuator, to fool the system into thinking its working.Dewayne Edwards 1974 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 07, 2018 9:20 pmI was able to just twist it out. I still have the cat. When I do midpipe it will go back in

Oh fuck Jfink, thats sucks, it sounds like the wrong plugs, (possibly) but how the hell did they find there way into the bike.

Same muffler as mine, i also got the link pipe\. If you take the centre restrictor out its way too loud, and runs a little crappy low down in the rev range.
