Re: 1290 PCV Power Commander

20% on the power commander screen? if yes go in to calibrate drop down box from power commander tools.if your bike is running and throttle position on idle is 0% that is ok but click in the box to the right for full throttle or maximum voltage (cant remember what it says) and try typing in 3.735 or ...

Re: 1290 PCV Power Commander

had similar issue with mine.type a manual figure in the 100% throttle box of 3.735. it wont be exact for your bike but will be close. the only way you can find the 100% throttle voltage is on a dyno or I read someone had their bike on a paddock stand in 6th gear and held the throttle open.guess you ...

Re: akra map for 1290

i have full akrapovic exhaust and the akra map loaded. we know the fuelling is altered with the map but I wonder if they have also altered the ignition timing or changed the throttle opening on the ride by wire.??

Re: a Technical Discussion of Throttle Bodies.

just looked at your video again. shouldn't one end of your manometer be open to atmospheric pressure? it looks like one end is connected to one cylinder and the other end is to the other cylinder. I am not sure this will work too well. I use a morgan carbtune connected to the intake below each throt...

Re: Rotors

Re: Full Akra & 02 eliminators

hi.you should be ok to remove the sensors out of the exhaust and fit the o2 eliminators into the plugs in the wiring loom where the sensors plugged in to. I have been running mine like this and it has been ok. it may make it run a little rich low down in the closed loop area but your pcv can sort th...

Re: Clutch Lever Assembly - What's right?

hi Johnny, how you have it in the last photo is right. the pin on mine has a reduced section which fits in the hole of the span adjuster. your pin from the first photo looks totally different to mine but at least you have it sorted. think mine has about 10mm of play measured at end of lever to the g...

Re: White spots in oil inspection and on oil cap?

my bike does the same.uk weather around 12 Celsius if oil dosnt get warmer than 75 Celsius which is my 10 mile ride to work.sometimes I take oil filler cap off when I get to work to let condensation out.a good run with oil up to 100 Celsius usually clears it.
