Re: Quickshifter 2018 SDR

Thx Spiff. I have a DJ QS. I seem to miss a lot of shifts with it. I haven't changed any of the settings, yet.

Re: 1290 flat up top

Interesting take on the SDR. I have the same feeling. Once your over 200 kms the SDR is a sitting duck for a litre bike with full fairing. Pull on them & pass coming out of the corner only to be taken at the end of a straight. I am afraid theres not a dam thing we can do. 10,000 RPM sounds a little ...

Re: 2017 Super Duke Race Prep

So I finally got some seat time and the first race in on the Super Duke. Let’s just say it did not disappoint and I beat out a couple Panigale’s for the win which made it even better. I’m still wanting to upgrade the suspension in the front but besides that the bike rode great! D07AAE71-76D9-4213-8...

Re: Well, This happened (Updated)

The DB killer for the Hi-Slung isn't much of a killer. I experimented a little & modified it. Had the noise down to where I could handle it. BUT. It was also a noticeable reduction in power. I would think that the dual pipe could be toned down & muted a little & still give good exhaust flow. Quieter...

Re: Well, This happened (Updated)

Here is video walk around-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0w7fXnn4ZfU I like it. Now if they could quiet it down a bit. (Utube videos don't give a real indication of how loud exhausts are.) Id consider buying one. I do have the Hi-slung sitting in my garage. http://i.imgur.com/IR6IlVeb.jpg Love t...

A electric or air impact works best for removal.

Looking good. A full side view(front wheel straight) exhaust side looks best. Stock mirrors look huge.

Re: Hold on 2017 SDR release?

Well, I got the AR Link Pipe and ST Range Hi Mount Can installed, m initial impressions are that the throttle responses is a lot quicker, super crisp sounding, instantaneous. It's also loud as fuck. Due to the rain I have yet to take it out for a test drive to see if in fact the Akra Map with Stock...

Re: Duke, Diavel and Vmax comparo

Yes I understand that. And me judging my bikes power by its wheelie ability isn't the best way to get the truth about its power. In a quarter mile race the SDR would gets its ass kicked by many bikes with less HP. Install the air intake, PCV & pipe on your bike. It will put a big smile on your face....

Re: Duke, Diavel and Vmax comparo

If your SDR wont wheelie at the snap of your wrist in 4th gear with stock gearing your missing part of your Beast.
Add the Rotty or MH airbox, PCV & open up your exhaust then tell us Mr Max is the boss.

Re: Hold on 2017 SDR release?

Not that I am a authority on oils,, BUT. I will assume KTM uses a break in oil. Non synthetic. I wouldn't change it until at least 3 - 400 miles. Let things seat a little B4 using synthetic. The rest of the shit needing to be done is minor. The shift light is just a light, isn't it, it doesn't affec...

Not sure why so many. It sure isn't because of the abundance or super low price on the 2017s

Re: Track Days on a SD-GT

You can apply your own settings tbh. Problem is that its within the parameters of load, and comfort/street/sport damping. It doesnt have the fine tuning possibilities that would be ideal and some other systems have. So far my best setting is Sport, 1 rider plus luggage. The bike seems to sit right ...
