Re: Reliability
Mick,
So how has the weather affected your bike? I don't ride that much in the rain by choice just if and when it rolls in and I am at work and ride my 18 miles home in it but have not seen any side affects? What is going on with yours? Just curious.

Re: My New 19' SD R
The Yosh tail tidy works with stock or the aftermarket led tailight. The plastic tabs broke on my stock taillight which has been an issue on early models. I decided to go with a custom rear brake light that is much better and has been redesigned to be stronger for the two mounting tabs plus can be p...

Re: My New 19' SD R
Andy I like the KTM stands. I got mine from amocmx online. They are good to deal with and have some good prices imho. The Power Parts seats are good addition. Also the Yosh tail tidy along with the led tail light with the built in turn signals and programmable light to strobe when brake on is awesom...

Stephen,
Your welcome buddy. I see you in Va Beach area. We used to live in Va back in 2007. We were in the mountain section west of Charlottesville. Harrisonburg to be specific. Beautiful state Virginia. Ride safe and happy new year

Youtube rottwiler sas ktm and at around 12 minutes in you will see your hose I bet and the dealer has undoubtedly left some of your items on? That comes from the cannister. I used this video in doing mine and it was a piece of cake. Hope this helps.

Re: Oil pressure issue?
I removed mine when I had the akra map loaded and I seem to remember a hose coming down the left side near the clutch slave that I removed when the cannister under the seat was taking out. Its been a couple years since but I just looked and I have no hoses coming down anywhere in that area. Can you ...

Rear Wheel Removal
Finally had to replace the rear tire on my SDR and having never done this on a single sided swingarm, I was amazed at actually how much easier than a traditional axle bike it was. I had to get the 60mm socket and a new torque wrench for the job and I used my floor jack handle on the breaker bar to g...

It looks to be a M5x16 bolt, maybe get new ones for each change or possibly a stronger bolt once you get it out? I hope you do get it out. ktm drawing.JPG ktm part num.JPG I have had good results using these to get a bolt moving then just take a small pointed pick and rotate them out. You need the v...

Mogas, They were not much breaking loose so I just tightened them down.
No oil loss really simple bolt up and fits like a top notch aftermarket should. I have their frame sliders and installing them soon.
