Re: Stock Dyno Run

Awesome. If you ever get down to Sydney, let me know, my garage is setup pretty nicely to allow some tinkering with the bike. I'll even let you ride my Z125 Pro around if you need some wheels!

Re: Stock Dyno Run

That's awesome Kev.

Would reflashing the ECU give me control over the quick shift cut time you think?

Modified Dyno Results & Accessories

Alright folks, So The bike's pretty much done, except the tinted windshield, panniers (both on their way), and some extra crash protection from R&G. So the list of mods so far for power include: Rottweiler Air Intake (debris plate not installed) Rottweiler Velocity Stacks 80mm x 2 Rottweiler SAS rem...

Re: Stock Dyno Run

Hey Guys,

I managed to get the link pipe and all that sorted, but started it's own thread as the exhaust valve alone is a whole different thing:

Exhaust Servo

Hi Guys, I thought I'd start this thread because it really deserves it's own discussion. So I began with buying a 1290 Akropovic slip on, and the link pipe from Remus for a 1290 R Super Duke, not the GT. This photo then had me realise the link pipe will not meet up with the stock position of the sil...

Re: Stock Dyno Run

I'm going to possibly either cut the valve off the cat and get it attached to the link pipe, so I can keep the valve for quietness, or maybe attach it to a fake valve. Rottweiler replied to me saying they think that the MTC failure is not linked to the exhaust, but I really doubt it. Waiting on KTM,...

Re: Hand guards and risers.

Put my ROX handlebar risers on last night, worked perfectly!

And just ordered the same black plastic handguards off a 1290 adventure.

Thanks for the info!

Re: Stock Dyno Run

So I installed the link pipe and exhaust (which required a small bracket and some slight bending  ), and let the exhaust valve cables cable tied lightly to the side, letting it think it's moving the valve but doing nothing. Unfortunately though, it gave me an MTC failure, so it somehow knows th...

Re: Hand guards and risers.

I tried raising my handlebars, but found the lines to be under a lot of tension.

Have you had any issues with lines being too short at all?

Re: Stock Dyno Run

Thats awesome about the dongle, I was going to make my own servo buddy, but would much rather a tested and pre fabbed solution.

Re: Permanent-ish positive

Take a look under the dash, there's a set of blade connectors for power. One set is live 24/7, the other is switched. I think.

Re: Stock Dyno Run

I've just overlaid a GT and R on Photoshop, and the cat is definitely longer with the valved section. What I might do is actually cut the valve off and reuse it. If that becomes to difficult I'll make a bracket to move the hanging position closer down. But yes, it would appear the valved section inc...

Re: Stock Dyno Run

I do have it yes, as I have the one from the 1290 R. I ordered it through Remus Australia.

Will be fitting just the link pipe and exhaust tonight to double check fitment, but looks like its the same exact exhaust dimensions as my slip on fits from a 1290 R
