@twisty just remove the torx from the dash clocks and the accessory wires are there, no need to fish around, 12v switched and permanent are on spade connectors.

GPS Bracket

The top Torx screw in the first picture is used to adjust the angle of the GPS screen. This has internal rubber vibration damping bushes and is a bit of a fiddle to adjust, but no big deal. ] Confused ? You don't need to adjust any torx !! To adjust the angle just grab the sat nav and slide it slig...

Re: GPS Bracket

I have a great little mod if you don't want to spend ££ If your using a ram ball mount this will work perfect, where the OE sat nav bolts into the square tube behind the clocks remove the bolt and the top cap, now instead of using the OE sat nav get a ram mount as below and cut it down so the bolt p...

Aussie Dave wrote:Cheers Mr C....... I wonder if anyone is thinking of making up a plug in dongle that tricks the ECU into thinking the suspension is working.......then just replace WP forks and shock with Ohlins units same diameter/length?

Might cost a bit ...... ;)

40 T rear sprocket

Any sprocket for a super duke R will fit the important bit is 525, having tried one down on the front it was shite, it lost the lovely nature of the torquey engine and made me ride it like a complete twat.

Re: Change of suspension

Mine was one of the very first bikes to land in the uk and it's been perfect, I plan to keep it well outside the warranty expiry and thinking about eliminating anything that could be expensive like the suspension, I would love to stick ohlins shock and fork internals on the bike !

Re: Let's see the GT's

Re: New 2016 SDGT

The horn was common on the first batch of GT and SDR bikes and I think ktm replaced horns if you had this issue, I opted to move it myself and not only has the issue stopped but it's slightly louder, I used the original bracket, drilled m6 hole in the bracket and fixed to the side of block . https:/...

Re: New 2016 SDGT

It's a great time to buy a GT especially if your in the UK brand new GT on the road £10995 that's a £5000 saving ! My 2016 has been fantastic, I moved the horn from behind the radiator, when it got hot the horn would stop working once moved its been perfect, panniers lids had a gap and ktm exchanged...

Re: Horn

If it's still behind the radiator there is your problem, when it gets hot the horn stops working or is muted, I moved mine to the side of the engine and it's perfect .

I've cut my own headlight and turn signal protection out of ventureshield, in fact I've wrapped all the plastics in clear film and after 8k you would no find a mark on my bike.

It's Deffo bike related and not all 2016, because I've just been away to Luxembourg / Germany and one particular rd out of the town we were based in was like an off rd track with the worst Tarmac repairs I've ever seen and even with the bike suspension set to sport my 2016 dealt with it outstandingl...
