Re: 1290 R. ECU re-flash.

I had my GT mapped @ hilltop, it surges/hunts @ 3k meaning you have to select a different gear so that your not sitting in the 3k [emoji848] it was dyno'd @ 147 base and I left with apparently 161 . Having been playing on a demo SDR today I was shocked how smooth and nice the fuelling was compared t...

Full Akrapovic on a GT

2016 evo system needs the exhaust can bracket as per Markey's . 2017 Evo system does not need the modified bracket, because the new SDR bike shares the same stock headers and can as the GT so the mountings are correctly positioned however the evo header is slightly longer and moves the can nearer to...

Re: 40 T rear sprocket

I've ordered a 40T rear and a 16T front sprockets for my GT after looking at the Gear Commander website and trying to determine how best to utilize 6th gear on North American roads without going 90+ mph. I see that a lot of you guys have opted for the 40T rear only and not changed the front. To my ...

Re: GPS Bracket

Yes you can use the bottle hole, the picture shows where it fits and the bolt . https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171211/f3b59aa583e73549985c080efb4824b1.jpg Yup...had to cut 3/8" off the bottom of the RAM mount, then it fit into the bracket using the bottom hole on the mount. Secured it with all-...

Re: GPS Bracket

The top Torx screw in the first picture is used to adjust the angle of the GPS screen. This has internal rubber vibration damping bushes and is a bit of a fiddle to adjust, but no big deal. ] Confused ? You don't need to adjust any torx !! To adjust the angle just grab the sat nav and slide it slig...

@twisty just remove the torx from the dash clocks and the accessory wires are there, no need to fish around, 12v switched and permanent are on spade connectors.

Re: GPS Bracket

I have a great little mod if you don't want to spend ££ If your using a ram ball mount this will work perfect, where the OE sat nav bolts into the square tube behind the clocks remove the bolt and the top cap, now instead of using the OE sat nav get a ram mount as below and cut it down so the bolt p...

Might cost a bit ...... ;)

40 T rear sprocket

Any sprocket for a super duke R will fit the important bit is 525, having tried one down on the front it was shite, it lost the lovely nature of the torquey engine and made me ride it like a complete twat.

Re: Change of suspension

Mine was one of the very first bikes to land in the uk and it's been perfect, I plan to keep it well outside the warranty expiry and thinking about eliminating anything that could be expensive like the suspension, I would love to stick ohlins shock and fork internals on the bike !
