Re: Decat

After fitting my Remus link pipe, I went for short 10min ride, and the bike sounded great and was fine. The next day, after less than 35kms, I got the dreaded MTC! No amount of adjusting the "cam" on the servo would fix it! Bike is now with KTM as I suspect the servo is knackered; (they agree at thi...

Rear footrests

My gf is having a problem with her feet slipping off the get rear footrests. Does anyone know if there are any rubber topped footrests that might fit or any ideas on how to combat this problem?

Thanks

Re: New Superduke GT owner experiences.

The fuel range calculator is a joke. It shows over 400 miles at fill-up and then drops from 70 miles to 30 miles to 0 miles in about 15 miles. Luckily, fuel MPG calculation seems accurate. There's a simple explanation for this, at least: it's always in kilometres, no matter what units you've chosen...

Gearbox

I have had a terminal failure in the gearbox that has left me with no 6th gear. It all started as a false neutral between 5th & 6th, then last week there was a loud clunk and no more 6th gear with bits rattling inside the gearbox. Bike delivered to Gear 4 for investigation, now KTM UK are replacing ...

Re: Any reliable SD-GT's out there?

Since purchasing my 2016 SD-GT 2-weeks and 746 miles ago I've had four issues with it. The first was a "Fuel Pump Failure" warning, the second is a large gap on the pannier lids, the latest yesterday was an MTC Failure accompanied by the failure of the quick shifter. I'm not counting the chattering...

Re: Grinning like a fool!

All good thanks Chris,, I thought I'd do the same as the BKing, i.e. Let you press ahead with the modding and I'll copy you :P How far is Peterborough exactly?! Hi Waz! About 180 miles, mine has been left alone bar the end can change to an Arrow. It is a bit of a finnicky old beast with quite a few...

Re: Exhaust Servo

Did you have any MYC issues with the Remus mid pipe? Every time I try to fit the cam (Trinket), I get an MTC failure.

Re: New Superduke GT owner experiences.

If you come from a Gold wing, you want more luxury from the GT. If you come from a sport bike you want a sportier GT. I'm a fiddler, mod guy and have put an Motohooigan intake, 16 tooth sprocket, and Remus decat (with exhaust valve delete) so far, cause you can "never have enough". I came from a 12...

Re: Stock Dyno Run

I do have it yes, as I have the one from the 1290 R. I ordered it through Remus Australia. Will be fitting just the link pipe and exhaust tonight to double check fitment, but looks like its the same exact exhaust dimensions as my slip on fits from a 1290 R The new Remus link pipe is longer for the ...
