Re: Draw through circuits

Turns out the Regulator/Rectifier was intermittently failing. Installed the aftermarket one mentioned in Kev's book. Running fine now with no battery issues.

Re: removing the front indicators

I don't have an guide. However I fixed an issue with mine without a guide by just starting to take apart the front fairing (and I'm no amazing mechanic). I can't remember what I did but it wasn't to difficult and didn't take too long.

Good luck

Re: Draw through circuits

Track down your draw with the fuses. Pull one fuse at a time until you find your draw current go down. I did, see the paragraph in the OP "This is made up of 20mA on the ACC1/Clock circuit and 25mA on the Ignition and fuel pump (every other circuit is 0). Does anyone know/have values for what the d...

I use it as a daily commute, albeit a short one (10-15 min each way). And the charging circuit seems to check out ok

Draw through circuits

Hoping to gain a bit of information from the group. I think I might have an electrical issue with my bike, it is often difficult to start on the cold mornings. I think the battery is draining while off. I have tested the charging, maintains about 14.4v across the rev range, so I think it is charging...

Not the Fuel Pump or Filters - Water in the tank

Thought I would share my experience with an ongoing problem with my 2010 SMT in case anyone else had the same issue. It was ongoing for a while. Symptoms are just like fuel filter or or fuel pump issues. Would splutter and stop under load but run ok at idle (most of the time). Except the pump tests ...

Fuel Pump needs replacing? SMT 2010

Hey all SMT 2010 16,000km I seem to be suffering from the Fuel pump/filter issue. First started about a year ago, changed the fuel pump filters, all good... but 6 months later, same problem, clean the fuel pump tea bag filter, better but not perfect (1 month ago), today, the problem is back times 10...
