Re: Graphics (where to buy?)

Talk to the guys at LR-designs if you want custom graphics, they have the templates for the SMT. I got mine custom made exactly like i wanted and the and the price is reasonable.

Re: SUSPENSION SETTINGS THREAD

I dont know anexact value but 30% of suspension total length is a good number for rider sag. The information I can find on the SMT it the front suspension travel is 160 mm and the rear is 180 mm. The rider sag should then be set to 48 mm on the front and 54 mm on the rear, correct? Just to double c...

Re: SUSPENSION SETTINGS THREAD

Yes, fully turned clockwise and then counterclockwise to the numbers on manual. Edit sorry i cannot find it on sdr manual, this is how it goes on smt. CW to add preload, CCW to reduce it. However, setting rider sag (height) with preload is not the same for everyone. Just google setting sag on youtu...

Re: SUSPENSION SETTINGS THREAD

Hmm in KTMs manual for the fork it says:
"Preload Adjuster (Clockwise) Comfort 5, Standard 5, Sport 3, Max payload 3"
Are you suppose to dail the adjuster in clockwise until it stops and then turn anticlockwise to these settings?

Re: 990 Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

Hi Kev, Since I live in Sweden, where it's a bit colder then down in hot Australia, I was thinking about taking my SMT to my local shop , which fortunatly has a dyno. Is it worth the extra time to tune each cylinder separatly? The garage charge me around $100/hour for the dyno so it is quite expensi...

Re: 990 Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

Is the mapping any different if you use the Rc8 stacks or the standards? I'm just curious because the #9 map (the one I'm currently using) says you can use either the Rc8 or standard stacks.

Noticable difference with Rottweiler

Hi, I'm daydreaming about buying a Rottweiler kit for my SMT but I'm kinda hesitent because it costs a lot of money... So my question is, is it worth it? I currently run with Akra slipons, 2nd flies and shafts removed, remapped with Kev's #9 map and rc8 stacks. Will I only notice a big difference if...

Another windshield thread...

I have read a couple of threads about the problems people have with the standard windscreen on the smt. I suffer from a lot of wind noise during riding, I'm 170 cm (5 ft 7 inch), I have a Shoei GT-Air helmet. I have seen a couple of pictures with chopped standard screens. Will that help with the win...
