Rottweiler filter + No Toil spray oil application tips

I have been using the Rottweiler airbox with Kev's PC5 map in my 2015 1290 SDR. I'm in the Los Angeles area where the temps have dropped slightly and I also noticed some behavior changes in the bike's fueling. Throttle is not as crisp as it was when I first installed the air box. I was wondering if ...

Re: 2015 KTM 1290 SD front wheel rotation arrow

I can't see what you are trying to show in the picture, but the arrows should be pointing in the direction of rotation. One possibility would be that the wheel was assembled backwards at the factory and the shop mounted the tire to line up with the wheel arrow. Assuming the disks and abs ring have ...

2015 KTM 1290 SD front wheel rotation arrow

I have a 2015 1290 SD and today I pulled the wheels out for its first tire change to a Q3. Got the tires mounted and brought it back from the shop to install the wheels back. Started with the front and did the usual ritual to check the directional indicators i.e. arrow on both the tire and the wheel...

Re: Akra Evo full system, Akra map and O2 elliminators ?

I can now answer my own original question. I have now installed the O2 eliminators and it makes a very pleasant difference. I can putter along in first gear at 2500 rpm (16t sprocket) without feather the clutch and it is smooth as melted butter. Overall the bike runs much smoother now. Will go for ...

Re: Kev's 1290 modification list

There are a few of us around the 170 HP mark & none have had any clutch slipping problems. Kev - That's some fabulous performance gain with the mods but what downsides have you observed that one should be aware of while trying to achieve these numbers ? Changes in Fuel consumption, power delivery, ...

Good people, great shop and fun to hang out with. No issues with me being on the shop floor and watching / getting involved.

Awesome, thanks!

Re: Accessories

Here is my version with a home made bracket. It has reduced lil bit of buffeting at the top of the helmet. I will get better pics later but here is a couple from the Rock store.

Re: 1290 Power Commander V Custom maps

Sorry if i messed up the graph but am new to the DJ software. I was hoping for a larger final number as the bike feels ***so*** much more powerful than stock. Cost was $150 for 3 pulls, the first I used to fine tune the map with autotune running and stepping up the RPMs 250 at a time. The next coup...
