Re: Fuel Tank Removal, Emissions equipment removal for GT

Be interesting to see how long ...

Re: Fuel Tank Removal, Emissions equipment removal for GT

Sorry I don't....on receiving the dongle I bought I did think about checking what the value of the resister used was but then thought why bother?! The dongles are not expensive and the bonus is that you get a proper electrical connector. I bought from this guy... https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_s...

Re: Exhaust valve dongle

There does seem to be a lot of anecdotal (seat of the pants) evidence that some decat pipes do have an adverse effect on power delivery/torque - but proper remapping/tuning will correct and deliver the full benefi...

Re: Exhaust valve dongle

Hi Doc, you took your time lol It is so difficult when for the most part all you have is anecdotal feedback / info / advice, with differing opinions and no one solution fits all anyway (different mods to bikes, different expectations/wants [needs] by owners, different budgets etc). Couple more opini...

I had my GT mapped @ hilltop, it surges/hunts @ 3k meaning you have to select a different gear so that your not sitting in the 3k [emoji848] it was dyno'd @ 147 base and I left with apparently 161....
Did you ever take this up with hilltop?
