You may have been a bit hasty flash. I finished bedding in the t-drives and race pads today. Much more feel and one finger is enough to hit the ABS Good! Wish I had the bucks to hold on to them for better function but... :-( I just ordered a set of the KTM PP Wave rotors. They do save weight althou...

You might be OK! Depends on the weather in your area.

I have that same one in my 1290. It does fine as long as the temps don't drop down the the 40F range when it might struggle to start the bike.

FWIW my Brembo T-Drive Rotors came. Stock 1290 rotor+ carrier weigh 1520g, T-Drive weighs 1470.

Two T-Drives save 100g or so over stock for $750.

The T-Drives are going back. The weight they save comes in at a price of $7500 a kg. LOL

several guys from the r3 forums put these on and had issues with them cracking.. it's big $s for the chance A couple of days of trawling the web seems to turn up lots of bad news stories. Might save up for suspension instead. References please. I've yet to find a facual report of BST wheel failure....
