Re: Picos /pyrenees looking for suggestions

Routes and roads around the Picos are fantastic. Pretty much any direction you care to take will be amazing. The Pyrenees, you want to take the N240/260 East of Pamplona, and just stay on it for as long as you can. It is for the most part, an stunning road. However, if you;re staying in the Picos fo...

Re: Looking for an Indy in the South West

No-one know of any decent Independents around here? Maybe not KTM but decent bike mechanics you would recommend?

Re: Fully loaded

If you're not camping, you're taking way too much stuff!

Are those soft panniers safe? They look very precarious strapped on like that.

Looking for an Indy in the South West

Hi Guys, I'm looking for an Independant KTM specialist in the South West UK, ideally Wiltshire/Somerset/Gloucestershire. Don't have the time or full on skills to do major servicing that I want done to my trusty SMT, but I'm very wary of main dealers so looking for someone to help. I can do regular s...

Hmmm...

In light of your 'thought of the week', you've made a rather unfortunate spelling error in your title!

Steve, At the top of every page, under the left hand photo of the bike leaning over, are links to various things. The one that says Donate, next to the heart symbol, takes you to the relevant page where you can donate to your hearts content  Thanks for the support, 'tis much appreciated. 8-)

Re: Replacing front brake light microswitch

Anyone??? I trust that you got your answer, but for future reference and others looking through the thread. The connector is tucked under the fuse box. I just replaced mine only $26.00. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk Hi, thanks for the info. Yes eventually I found out where it was - tucked up...

Re: More SMT Fun

Nice video, great looking roads (think I've ridden there many years ago). However, if you're speedo is set to MPH, rather than KPH, you may want to do something to 'disguise' the speeds showing. ;)

Re: SMT highland fun

Fuck me, how loud?!?!?! :o

I've got unbaffled Fuel's on my SMT, and they're no-where near as loud as that, unless the mike is amplifying that somehow?

Nice vid, but when do you give it the real beans?

Replacing front brake light microswitch

Hi Guys, MY front brake light microswitch - activated by front brake lever - has failed. I've got a replacement from KTM (Forty seven f**king quid!!!!) which comes complete with the wire and plug. Trouble is, the plug connection is, from what I can see, buried somewhere within the frame/headstock ar...

Re: Tire and sprocket replacements

I've got PR4's on mine, but not the GT's, just the standard ones. Thought the GT's were for the bigger bikes, like an RT or Pan? Good tyres, although I find the fronts go pointy well before they're worn. I guess it depends on what type of riding you do as to whether you should change sprocket size. ...

Re: Palmer products screen

I did 1100 miles in all weathers over the last few days and found the Palmer did a far better job than the standard screen. It isn't exactly a touring screen, but it does make sustained high speeds less unpleasant. I found highest position, tilted maximum back eliminated any buffeting. I'm going to...

Re: Palmer products screen

It´s easy to say; "Just buy it!" But guys, if a screen works for one rider it doesn´t automatically mean that it will work for another. Much depends of the body hight. Right? A shorter rider could accept the KTM touring screen, or the Puig, but a taller rider needs a screen that is more than 20 cm ...

Don't hesitate, just buy one.
