Re: Good tuners in Canada or Eastern US.

Took my 990 SMT to Wheelers Performance shop in Robbinsville, NC for tuning/custom map. He is very knowledgeable in motorcycle tuning, especially KTM...and he has a Dyno. Very reasonable prices and turn around time is usually 1-2 days. Shop is small and a little old but don't judge a book by its cov...

Put some digital camo wrap and fake carbon fiber wrap on the SMT...thought it came out pretty good.

Re: Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

Wrath, I also did the #20 map recommended by Kev but with no increase to the F-tables. I have no surging issues and can definitely tell the difference but I feel it needs a little bit more power down low. I have the #18 map that I can put in my bike...anybody know if the #18 map would help in that a...

Re: Kev's SMT modification list

Thanks Kev...sorry to be a pain but did you ever look to see which map# you would recommend for my setup? As you can tell I am a complete dummy when it comes to computers, mapping etc. I`m not really sure how to get all this mapping stuff started even though I have installed the ITG air box and bloc...

Re: Kev's SMT modification list

Kev....correction on my local octane. Its 93 with up to 10% ethanol and the same with no ethanol. Dumb question time...is turning off SAS done with the chosen map or a separate program?

Thanks

Re: Kev's SMT modification list

Kev...thanks for the response. I have looked at all the maps and since I am unfamiliar with mapping I could not figure out which one to use. Given the list of things I have done to my SMT what map# would you suggest I use?

Thanks

Re: Kev's SMT modification list

Hello all...I`m pretty good mechanically with basic motorcycle jobs but with computers/mapping etc I`m pretty green but I catch on quickly so my question is what map # should I use from Kevs list on my 2012 SMT? Here`s what I`ve done: Wings bolt-on exhaust > large DB killers installed ITG JC 30-65 a...
