Obviously I can rotate the bars back...

Re: 1290 flat up top

I'd get the map sorted first but then maybe adding this since you already have the PC? Looks like adds gains up top? Kind of throwing $'s at the problem, but sometimes that's the answer! http://www.rottweilerperformance.com/dynojet-ignition-module/ New to the 1290 (had a tuned 990) so a rookie, plea...

Re: SAS removal question

OK, figured it out, can do it all with just taking the seat off - have all the plumbing removed / plates installed - in tune ECU - disabled SAI check box and downloaded to the bike is a 15 minute idle (reset) required? Do the plates require any sort of sealant or just bolt them on and locktight the ...

Re: Time for an Oil & Filter change

I change my oil every 15hrs on my KTM 4t offroad bikes, but was lazy and took my 990 to the shop for 5k service at the beginning of the week..... Picked it up yesterday, rode it home 20 miles and when got there i checked the oil...e.g. turn off wait 1 minute, level bike and check...of course it's ov...

Re: I love my SMT but.......

How many miles/km's on the bike? The peeling issue could be from something your dealer put on while at their shop pre-purchase......Would still think KTM would cover it in the interest of cust service, but apparently that's not their cup of tea.... Peeling spring is interesting, i've had 5 KTM offro...

Re: TuneECU Steps

I guess one more question for the educated....

If i just changed the one parameter (o2 = off), then does TuneECU just update that or does it reload the entire map???

Since it only took about 10 seconds to "download" to the bike, guessin it just updated the delta...e.g. what changed (o2 = off)??

Re: TuneECU Steps

OK, pretty easy, just intimidating at first.... ....already had akro 11 map (so epc was already off)....so all i did was turn off o2 sensor...smoothed it out some on the low end...not as jerky, maybe runs a little hotter with this change?? Only put 1 hour on it so will assess and go from there...nex...
