Which looks better

I de catted the gt but couldnt fit the original black heat shield. So i got a short carbon one from ebay. This attached via 2x jubilee clips with a threaded bolt on them. I then refitted the original heat shield using these jubilee clips with just a false fixing bolt in the middle. Cant decide which...

Anybody tried one of these?https://www.boosterplug.com/shop/cms-faq.html
My bike feels like it’s running great but on the Dyno it says it’s a smidge lean in places,
Has anybody tried this.

Re: 2019 KTM SDGT Photo's are Out

Just as I thought the bhp may be up but the torque is down using the sdr motor and trying to get the torque back with a re map. https://www.autocarindia.com/bike-news/intermot-2018-2019-ktm-1290-super-duke-gt-updated-409964 Must admit it looks great though and the screen and up and down quickshifter...

Re: 2019 KTM SDGT Photo's are Out

From what he says the suspension hardware is the same ? I wonder if the dealer will be able to update existing Gt’s also bet those handgaurds will be expensive. Seems they are cutting production costs as same engine and headlight as sdr, I wonder what the price of the new model will be. Still not co...

Re: Remus link pipe heat shield

I put a rotty style filter on my smt but to do it right you need a power commander and custom map! On the gt I can’t get my head around how this works when you change from sport to street etc, if the map is Dyno tuned for sport it can’t be right on street ? Am I missing something? I had 2 maps on my...

Re: Remus link pipe heat shield

I’ve never reved it out in top gear seen 142mph and it was still pulling like a train. I changed the front sprocket before I removed the cat, but did notice an improvement in low rev running after cat was removed. If you check gearing commander it’s not much diff from 16front 38 rear than 17front 40...

Re: Remus link pipe heat shield

I’ve also got the HealTech dongle but I’ve dropped the front sprocket to a 16 tooth and don’t have any loss of pull at the bottom end the bike runs great! The reason I’m not doing the sas is I love the sound on the overrun gurgle bang pop 😂 I have removed the canister under the seat for space with n...

Re: Remus link pipe heat shield

I thought the whole purpose of the o2 sensors where to keep the fueling right? At the lower end.
I’ve kept the sas as I like the burble and pops on the over run, may consider trying the 02delete.
I never managed to re install the original heat shield no fixing points .

Re: Remus link pipe heat shield

Cheers Dave I’m now considering getting the puig belly pan but can’t find any full side on profile pics of it fitted. Re: De cat pipe no re map now done

I’ve put the baffle back in the Akro just a bit too loud I think it’s more like the same level 99db as with the cat on and the baffle out. But it was 113db with the baffle out and cat removed. Spoke to my dealer about getting the ecu flashed he said they have had major issues with people who done th...

De cat pipe no re map now done

Has anybody done a de cat link pipe and removed the exhaust valve without doing a re map? I’ve currently got the Akro slip on which doesn’t need a re map but would like to remove the exhaust valve and install a healtech dongle. I’ve already removed the emissions canister below the seat and just tied...
