Re: KTM SDGT Lean Angle Lights to Running Lights

Cheers I’ll have a look for them Dave . Well Marcel replied to my email he was on vacation but his schedule is to busy to do it this spring? Oh well back to my other idea of the additional drl lights.
Was thinking of mounting flat ones on the forks.
Thanks for the replies guys.

Re: KTM SDGT Lean Angle Lights to Running Lights

Heard nothing from Marcel so now considering fitting some Denali drl lights does anybody know if there are any spare connections to wire them to? I know on the smt they had some spare live and switched spade connectors in the front section of the frame as I wired my heated grips to them on the smt. ...

Re: KTM SDGT Lean Angle Lights to Running Lights

Dave why would you have to wait is it not just a loom he sends? Or do you have to send parts off our bikes for him to adapt?
Sent him an email on Sunday and haven’t heard back so maybe he’s not doing it anymore.

Re: KTM SDGT Lean Angle Lights to Running Lights

Just what I need as I was concerned about my visibility due to my tinted headlight cover but liked the look. How long did they take to fit and where do you hide the cables?. What’s the waiting time going to order ASAP so thanks for the share. I never ride in the dark so the cornering light where jus...

Re: Fuel Injection info from Booster Plug - a good read.

Looking nice I reckon when you do the decat you will need to put the baffle in that’s a big looking opening. I would say mines sounded the same with the baffle out with cat in place as it does with baffle in and cat removed it’s now 113db with baffle in. I never did measure it with the baffle out it...

Re: Fuel Injection info from Booster Plug - a good read.

Think I should have patented that idea 🤑 looking good Dave I noticed you even used the sticker like me. The reason I went with the sprint filter was it lets more air through and does not need oiled, it’s a very fine metal mesh that you just clean by blowing through the opposite direction with compre...

Re: Fuel Injection info from Booster Plug - a good read.

Dave just remembered when I had the smt, dealer-said you couldn’t install the akra map before removing the cat as it was too rich for the bike if the cat wasn’t removed and could cause a fire??. Don’t know how legit this info was but just thought you could run it by Jen just in case? I know the boos...

Re: Fuel Injection info from Booster Plug - a good read.

Yep that’s what I find it’s not so smooth at constant throttle as the o2 sensors take over but when you crack the throttle the surge is more noticeable it pulls like a train, roll off around 5.5k then crack the throttle and the front goes light in any gear even 6th. You should see an improvement in ...

Re: Fuel Injection info from Booster Plug - a good read.

Dave that’s exactly how I fitted mine but I used a small sleeve around the end of the probe to prevent it touching the plastics ,about a 4mm gap between probe and black plastic. It holds it in place nicely.
Cheers

Re: Fuel Injection info from Booster Plug - a good read.

]Dave would thar not get caught with a passengers leg? Sticking out like that I have mine running parallel with the subframe with just a small spacer and zip tie to hold in in place to stop it touching anything. I’ll take a picture and let you see what I mean.ps new tyres only done 20 miles so no co...

Re: Fuel Injection info from Booster Plug - a good read.

Welcome to the club Dave I’m sure you will not be disappointed, the sensor on the booster plug says install to the front of the bike? However I found this to be a bit of a challenge so I routed mine out to the back taking it out through the old canister hole and attaching to the space between the tre...

Re: Remus link pipe heat shield

Dave this dyno was before I put the sprint filter and booster plug on, I installed the booster plug at the same time as I was concerned it would be too lean with the free flowing filter. I’ve never had it back on the dyno since but from the seat of my pants dyno 😂 this made a big difference on pick ...

Re: 27,000kms and all is good

I run mine with the Remus link on an akra end can baffle in sound nice but to loud with baffle out. I also got a carbon heat shield as there is no fixing points on the Remus for the heat shield I mounted it using jubilee clips with 2way bolts only managed 2 fixing points so put a false screw in the ...
