Re: Difficulty finding neutral

I too experienced nearly impossible Neutral gear selection. Flushing and bleeding the fluid absolutely transformed it. It’s perfect now.

Re: Any reliable SD-GT's out there?

2017 SDGT 6500 miles and about 11 months of ownership. Fun bike. Still not sure about the looks, but I bought it for performance, technology and features. I;m a function over form guy. Problems so far: - Brembo M/C and fuel line recall performed. When I brought it in for 600 mile service, the dealer...

Re: Hard Suspension

I've owned a lot of bikes, three right now. I don't find the suspension overly stiff at all. I'm perplexed by the comments on this thread. I'm at 2100 miles on my 17 GT and feel exactly the same way. They can't be talking about my bike. I weigh 160 lbs completely geared up to ride. I have spent a l...

I put the medium CalSci on mine, and love it. Taller and wider than OEM; blocks cold air for winter riding.
Me too. I prefer the look of the factory windscreen but the CalSci does work very well. I only use it once/year on a week-long tour.

However, certain performance exhausts (i.e., Graves) have gone full circle and now manufacture full replacement exhausts for racing with an exhaust valve in-place. Reportedly, it adds a significant a...

Front stand pin diameter

Another answer to a question nobody asked. This is for posterity in the event someone is looking for the answer that I could not find here - or on the net. If you want to use a front stand that lifts from the triple clamp pivot (such as the Woodcraft stand I have) the pin size you need is 23mm . I w...

Mirror vibrations and blurring

Howdy folks. I'm enjoying my '17 GT with the minor exception of the mirrors. In the event others might have this issue, here's what worked for me: I purchased EVO Performance bar-ends and added 1/2" brass to the existing weights with 1/4"-20 threaded studs. The weight went from the stock mass of 220...
