Re: Anyone try a Madstad windscreen yet?

I’m really loving the Madstad. It is the 24” windscreen, and I have it set about 2” down. It’s perfect for me at only 5’9”. I get just the right air flow in my helmets top vent with minimal noice, can’t ask for more.

Re: Anyone try a Madstad windscreen yet?

I got the Madstad windscreen installed last weekend, and now have a few days tof testing now. It’s just what I hoped, a nice calm pocket of air now even at 100mph!
Thanks Doc

Re: New owner here!

Thanks Aussie,
Good to hear the boots don’t get soaked. My GS maybe sticking around for rain days. When moving only the outside of my knee’s and arms get wet in the light rain we usually get around here.
I bought a Madstad off a fellow member, so that may change.. :?:

Rider,

The Madstad worked well with the SW-Motech Kobra handlebar Guards. Best,

Doc :) :)
Sounds good I hadn’t decided on what handguards yet, but that makes it a easy decision!

New owner here!

Hi All,
After all the threads on various forums and going back and forth between the XR1000, I picked up my new 17 GT Friday. I really love the big Vtwin, but I can see I’m gonna be busy accerizing her for wet, and cold commutes.

Anyone try a Madstad windscreen yet?

Just picked up a new GT Friday, and am feeling my age with the stock screen. I see the Puig has a lot of mixed reviews, and was hoping for some feed back on other possible windscreens. I ride year round here in the SF Bay Area and am looking for maximum wind protection for my morning commute. The Ma...
