Re: Need meat in the middle for a longer lasting tire!

My Angel GTs were nearly dead after 5500km Also had a nasty cut on the rear tyre so changed to Roadtech01 after so many had good feedback. Was intrigued by the T31s (also had a 30€ cash back) as I loved my T30EVOs Now I am nearly at 13k km with 360° riding including highway dashes at over 160kph, Al...

Re: New member - GPS and lights question

The GPS mount I like it but it can be a bit wobbly at speed, still it is by far the best placement possible. Some guys fabricated their mounts but the KTM mount is decent and it rotates, remember you will have to take it apart to put the holder (I had to for the Rider 450). But no issues and just be...

Re: Hard Suspension

Came yesterday from a 300 km ride, had another on Saturday about 100kms. I changed the preload to rider + gear and kept the Angel GTs on the lower side at 2,3 and 2,6 cold (atm). Much, much better. The front now is stable at higher speed and the rear has just enough movement to allow to feel the gri...

Re: Anyone else ever forget they had panniers on and go 150mph +?

I went 155mph (260kph) with panniers and back box.

I checked after and it was all rock solid

Still kinda cool to image they just flew away, but hey...I had friend of mine whose back box opened at 140kph.
Nothing came out but it was funny trying to explain what happened when I stopped him

Re: Venerdì Santo, which means start cursing for the Long Weekend

eXiLe88, Went with the IBIS so, have the old OEM set up. If you want it let me know. $50 & you pay shipping. Best, Doc :) :) Thanks for the though, I already wrote to couple of KTM dealers to enquire about the part I need. Let's see how much the change for the new one. As for aftermarket replacemen...

Re: GT missing from KTM site

Anybody want to bet there will be no 2019... Ya have to belive! Actually the GT sales were not as bad as many think, but many knowing KTM did not buy the 2016 due to some gremlins, waited the 2017 and then thought 2018 the TFT bike was coming. KTM did not clearly lay out their plan for this bike an...

Venerdì Santo, which means start cursing for the Long Weekend

So... I like jumping sidewalks, been doing it for 25 years on bikes, 3 on motorbikes but I kinda did a mess this time. The plastic is destroyed, it's gone completelly... No damage to the bike, me or others but https://preview.ibb.co/f5fczn/Whats_App_Image_2018_03_30_at_13_15_38.jpg This is just afte...

Ciao from Italy

Ciao a Tutti! Finally I was able to register even if I was reading this forum for quite some time. Fell in love with the 1290GT as soon as I saw it, but I had just bought my first bike. An Aprilia Shiver 750 ABS After a couple of years of blood and tears and way tooo many dreams about it I decided t...
