I would caution the use of the Knight Design pegs as they don't fit very well on the throttle side and provide no grip. Once installed, the throttle side would not flex to allow clearance during extreme lean. Even after grinding on them I opted for another solution. I'm 6'8" as well and the setup li...

I used the adapters and went down and forward like you mentioned. Must better for tall riders.

I installed some MFW Vario Racing Evo 2 pegs and there is no slip whatsoever. My Sidi boots slid all over the stock pegs and was driving me crazy.

The day I took delivery of my '17 I noticed a puddle of oil after a quick ride on some back roads by the dealer. Was the front valve cover leaking down to the oil filler then on the ground. KTM sent a new gasket overnight for Saturday delivery and the dealer had it ready by noon. No issues since.
